SUMMARY Alaska Industrial Hardware, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking qualified Counter Sales employees for its Alaska retail locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Assure proper customer service is given to every customer Maintain your assigned area of the store in keeping with proper merchandising standards Stock merchandise at the direction of store management QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION Required (Minimum) Qualifications Must be 18 years or older High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Basic knowledge of product sold Basic computer skills Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Must be self-motivated, being able to complete tasks during unsupervised periods Preferred Retail / customer service experience Background in the building trade PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Must be physically able to be on your feet, standing, walking, and working on hard concrete and tile floors for full shifts.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS As a condition of employment, you are required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable references and background check.
Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
